The story of Nabson Global Activities is inspiring and highlights the entrepreneurial vision of its CEO, Nabil Choukeir, a man who comes from a family of entrepreneurs with three generations settled in Africa.

Nabil studied in France and started working in Angola at the age of 21, working with family members in steel logistics.

After a while, he decided to set up his own tyre and lubricant business. However, the Angolan market was not yet ready for the type of products that Nabil was commercialising.

2010

In 2010, Nabil founded Coditransportes in Angola, a company that sells and distributes tyres, accessories and consumables for vehicles.

2014

In early 2014, it began a partnership with Pirelli to supply its tyres to the Angolan market.

2015

However, in 2015, the Angolan economic crisis affected the entire civilian economic structure and Coditransportes was no exception.

2016

But Nabil didn't give up and, in 2016, he secured funding from investors to keep the company afloat and be able to continue responding to all his clients.

2019

In 2019, Nabson Global Activities was created to overcome the difficulties that emerging markets were experiencing. The company set up from Portugal to respond to obstacles and needs in Angola and to be able to work with and serve the best companies in the business.

2020

With the appearance of Covid-19, most of the world's factories closed and customers were unable to get supplies. Nabson was one of the few companies that managed to maintain its response capacity and fulfil its commitments, even during the pandemic. This was the boost Nabson needed to make a name for itself.

2021 - today

After the success of 2020, Nabson's reputation was built up and new customers continued to trust Nabson for their tyre imports, opening up new horizons for the company.
